When Lia and Nick's son disappears when overseas, all they have is an email that he was thinking of going to Jakarta, leaving them with their own grief and uncertainty. And then a stranger appears, uncannily like their son, covered in scars and holding Adam's passport. . . Enlightenment is a powerful study of parental grief and of hope amidst uncertainty.

I've been working on the series as the sound designer alongside the writer and director Corey Campbell (co-artistic director of Belgrade Theatre) and BAFTA-winning sound recordist John Roddy.

Urban Young Actors has had a special place in my heart since I started leading workshops there in 2016. I teach professional actors, drama school students and youth theatre all over the UK but there is an incomparable electricity and a certain homeliness to this drama school for young people in Leicester. It’s for this reason that I couldn’t be happier to announce that I’ve now taken over the company as owner and artistic director.

During lockdown, my partner (actor Katie Burchett) and I put our energy into writing and producing a short film. We ended up creating 'Delivery' - a comedy in which Katie plays both of the two leading roles. We submitted 'Delivery' to a variety of film festivals and were delighted to be selected for several.

I'm heartbroken for the arts industry as a whole who are suffering greatly during this time. In an attempt to offer what little support I can I am offering FREE online 1:1s to a limited number of drama school applicants every week. This will be an opportunity to workshop a monologue, receive feedback and advice and prepare for your audition during this time of quarantine.
